Terms and Conditions:

These are the terms and conditions of Lapin Väki Oy. Please read these terms carefully before accepting the agreement and registering as our customer.

1. Services

Lapin Väki Oy offers its customers a variety of fitness services. With us, you can enjoy independent climbing at your own pace, or participate in group climbing sessions. We also offer group yoga classes. For more information about our classes, please visit our website. You can train with us year-round.

Yoga class schedules are updated every three months. You can book your yoga classes up to four weeks in advance through our online booking system. During the summer season, yoga classes are offered on a more limited basis.

We reserve the right to make changes to the class schedule. For group fitness classes, we may need to make changes to the schedule at short notice, for example, due to an instructor or their family member falling ill or having an accident. We will inform our customers of any changes as soon as possible.

In the event of an exceptional situation, such as a pandemic, we reserve the right to modify the content of our services and replace group fitness classes with online or video classes.

Our opening hours are listed on our website and displayed at our premises. During opening hours, you can enjoy independent training. We reserve the right to change our opening hours.

2. Personal Agreement

The agreement and right to exercise is personal.

3. Duration of Agreement

The agreement is fixed-term and, depending on the product, is valid for certain period of time from acceptance of the agreement. Duration is stated in the product.

4. Terms and conditions

As a customer, you agree to comply with our general terms of use and service. These terms are designed to provide a safe training environment for everyone. You can find these terms in each training area.

If we find that you repeatedly or intentionally violate the terms of use, we reserve the right to terminate this agreement immediately

5. Liability and Insurance

You train at your own risk and voluntarily. You are personally responsible for adequate insurance coverage that covers the training. We recommend that you take out insurance for your own protection.

Lapin Väki Oy is not liable for personal or property damage in our facilities if the damage is caused by the customer's own intentional act or negligence.

6. Payment

You can pay for our services via online banking, debit or credit card, Epassi, Edenred, Smartum, or Eazy Break.

By accepting the agreement, you commit to paying for the fitness services according to the price list valid at the time of acceptance for the entire duration of the agreement. You can find the current price list on our website. The monthly membership fee must be paid in advance as a one-time payment, while the annual membership fee can be paid in 1, 4 or 12 installments

You are entitled to a reduced fee if you are a student, pensioner, on parental leave, in the military, unemployed, or a veteran. You must provide proof of your eligibility for the reduced fee at your first training session.

For overdue payments, we charge interest in accordance with the Interest Act for the delay period and the reminder fee applicable at the time for each reminder. In addition, we reserve the right to use a collection agency for overdue invoices, and the costs incurred from the collection will be charged to the customer.

For distance contracts, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it.

7. Suspension or Transfer of the Agreement

You have the right to suspend your membership for a maximum of one month. You must notify us in writing at least two weeks before the suspension is to begin. You may suspend your membership due to illness or injury, for example. Fees already paid will not be refunded.

You have the right to transfer your membership to another person. The person to whom the membership is transferred will be responsible for the obligations and payments of the membership from the date of transfer. This person must register in our user system and agree to abide by our terms of use.

8. Termination of the Agreement

You have the right to terminate this agreement with one month's notice. Failure to pay an invoice does not constitute a termination notice and does not waive your payment obligation.

9. Other

We have the right to change these general terms and conditions. We will notify customers one month before any changes take effect.

10. Validity of the Agreement

These terms and conditions apply to all customer agreements starting from December 1, 2020.
